Mackmechelectric (Pty) Ltd. was originally formed in 2010 as a project specific joint venture consortium of several smaller specialised sub-contractors to close a gap in the African construction, mining and maintenance market. The need for one reliable sub-contracting partner capable of providing coordinated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control support on mining construction projects.

Due to the success of its operating model Mackmechelectric (Pty) Ltd was formally incorporated and registered in South Africa as an independent company in 2013, operating throughout Africa and the Middle East.

We provide turnkey ME&I subcontracting support to clients, main contractors and EPCM teams across mining, oil & gas, power, infrastructure and heavy industrial sites. Our teams support installations, shutdowns, maintenance, upgrades, breakdowns and emergency recovery work.

Built for rapid response and site mobilisation, we can deploy skilled artisans, supervisors and project support personnel quickly, including remote site support using our own aircraft where required.
